Michael J. Campbell – Chief Executive Officer

Michael has over 29 years of commercial real estate experience. Since joining Carlton in 1998, he has been integrally involved in the structuring and procuring of equity and debt capital for over $150 billion of real estate projects around the world.  Prior to joining Carlton, Michael spent four years at PGIM real estate investment group originating and underwriting acquisitions as well as portfolio management. He has extensive experience in all facets of real estate investments including: complex equity and debt capital structuring, business origination & development, loan sales, REO auctions and underwriting for all property classes. Michael has a degree in Financial Engineering from James Madison University and a Master’s in Real Estate Finance and Investments from New York University. DANIEL I. BILDNER – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & GENERAL COUNSEL

Dan serves as COO and General Counsel for The Carlton Group, Carlton Strategic Ventures LLC (CSV) and their related companies. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate. Bildner, in addition to being chief operating officer and chief legal officer of the company, is involved in all aspects of Carlton business, including: advisory, consulting, principal transaction, workout and restructurings, and negotiation of term sheets and commitments with mortgage and mezzanine debt and preferred and joint venture equity capital partners for Carlton clients and Carlton principal investments. Bildner sources institutional, non-institutional, HNW, and family office capital for debt, equity and sales advisory engagements, and he oversees the asset management of the CSV principal investments. Prior to Carlton, Bildner was vice president and general counsel of Armstrong Capital Management LLC – an owner-operator and property manager of retail and multifamily properties. Preceding his position at Armstrong, Bildner was a partner at the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where he practiced in the real estate department for over twelve years, handling numerous complex acquisition, financing, dispositions, construction and joint venture matters. In the years preceding his tenure at Greenberg Traurig, he was an associate practicing civil and real estate related litigation at the law firms of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP and Klein & Solomon LLP. Bildner received his bachelor of arts from Emory University in 1989, and graduated, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1992.

Janet Fleming – Managing Director Finance

With over 30 years of experience in family-owned real estate, Ms. Fleming joined The Carlton Group as Managing Director-Finance and works directly with leadership in day to day operations. Prior to joining Carlton, she was the Chief Financial Officer for Debrah Lee Charatan and directed the accounting department in all financial planning, management, and reporting. Previously, Ms. Fleming was the Chief Accounting Officer at Ashkenazy Acquisitions where she managed an accounting staff of 9. Ashkenazy is noted for its many retail holdings including Faneuil Hall and Union Station. Ms. Fleming also served as Chief Financial Officer for Allied Partners and as Corporate Controller for Jack Parker Corporation with a staff of 12 Accountants.  Ms Fleming started her career working with Irving Goldman for 10 years in multi family real estate and later worked for 14 years for Sanreal Properties , a retail real estate company known for its NNN leases where she also prepared the company’s tax returns. Ms. Fleming has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehman College and resides in Westchester.

Brian Fernando Nuesi – Executive Director

Brian is an entrepreneur who specializes in managing complex, high-leverage real estate transactions, providing equity and debt capital solutions, and advising on equity capital investment for real estate developments across the US and the globe. As the Executive Director of Carlton, he oversees multi-billion dollar transactions while providing a personalized, client-centered approach

As a bilingual professional with native fluency in English and Spanish, he possesses a rare capacity to comprehend the requirements and cultural quirks of varied demographics which serves him well in creating impactful relationships with international clients while honing his emotional intelligence that can lack in most.

Brian is originally from the Dominican Republic, has a bachelor’s degree from Queens College, New York, and interests include traveling, creative outlets, global economy markets and technology.

Jonathan Rosner – Managing Director

Jonathan is responsible for the origination and placement of structured debt and equity financing and is also responsible for Carlton’s capital raising activities in Israel. Previously, Mr. Rosner served as Chief Financial Officer at Carlton. Mr. Rosner is an acknowledged capital markets expert and has been involved in over $5 billion of principal and advisory transactions. Mr. Rosner lived in Israel for 5 years, speaks Hebrew fluently and has established relationships with Israel’s largest insurance companies, pension funds, and ultra-high net worth investors. Mr. Rosner previously worked for Cushman and Wakefield, where he provided highly structured financial and analytical advice on large and complex transactions. Before that, Mr. Rosner worked at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Rosner received his MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and his BS in Accounting from Yeshiva University. Mr. Rosner is a licensed CPA and Real Estate Salesperson.

Anthony F. Marando – Managing Director – Special Situations

Anthony is a Managing Director of Special Situations in Carlton’s Equity/Debt Advisory and Strategic Ventures Departments and is also Head of Carlton’s European and Italian business, responsible for the origination and placement of large corporate and real estate related structured transactions and funds. Tony is a 35 year veteran of the commercial real estate marketplace which during his tenure personally originated and placed over $10 billion of commercial real estate and corporate transactions throughout his career. He is also a Licensed NYS Real Estate Broker since 1983. Tony is an active member of his local residential community with extensive political and business ties in the US and Italy. He attended Fordham University at the Lincoln Center campus in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in economics and currently maintains Dual Citizenship in the United States and Italy.

Lino DiLascio – Managing Director

Lino is a Real Estate Professional active for over 30 years in various capacities. Most recently, performing as the founding Principal of Structured Capital, a Real Estate Capital and Investment firm. Mr. DiLascio has also held positions as head of acquisitions for real estate investment firms and directing the re-positioning of assets for banks. Highly skilled, Mr.  DiLascio has turned around approximately two million square feet of commercial properties throughout the tristate area, has worked in re-positioning of shopping centers and development of retail NNN leases on a nationwide basis as well as provision of due diligence and pricing evaluation for more than 2 billion of commercial real estate collateralized loan sales. With his extensive experience in finance and analysis, Mr. DiLascio has also provided financing for over 3 billion of real estate transactions across various product categories. Mr. DiLascio is a licensed New York State real estate broker and holds a BBA from Iona College in accounting.

Ruth Barone – Managing Director

Ruth has extensive experience in real estate lending across all asset classes. She was Chief Credit Officer at a capital company where her responsibilities included credit review, structuring and capital markets syndication. Prior to that, Ruth was Managing Director of a real estate private equity firm. There she ran the debt platform where she was responsible for the origination of bridge loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments for the firm, as well as the placement of A-Note participations to banks and institutional lenders. Ms. Barone was also Senior Vice President at a real estate fund where she was responsible for originating both debt and equity investments for the firm. Ms. Barone started her career at Carlton from 1994 through 2006 and returned to the company in 2017 as Managing Director. Her knowledge of real estate investment banking is exceptionally thorough.

Mark Melhuish – Managing Director

Mark joined The Carlton Group in 2016 as a Managing Director in the Carlton Strategic Ventures principal investment group and currently functions as head of asset management.  Mr. Melhuish has 30 years of experience in real estate private equity investments.  Most recently, Mr. Melhuish was a Managing Director for Signal Rock Real Estate Group, a real estate investment advisor that specialized in real estate acquisitions, portfolio and asset management and various advisory assignments such as debt financing and investment structuring.  Mr. Melhuish has previous experience in real estate acquisition and development roles and has held asset management positions for the Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers real estate opportunity funds.  Mr. Melhuish holds a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Jeff Kosow – Managing Director

Jeff is a Director at The Carlton Group and has more than 35 years of experience as an owner-developer, and manager of multi-family and commercial properties throughout New England, New York City, and Southern Florida. During that time, he has owned and partnered in more than 4,500 rental and condominium apartments, 1,500 of which have been developed from the ground up. Kosow has arranged acquisition, construction, conversion, lines of credit and permanent financing for more than $3b worth of properties. Kosow’s equity partners in development projects have included Chevron, Dean Witter, and California Edison. Kosow’s community and philanthropic activities have included being an Associate Trustee for the University of Pennsylvania, a member of The President’s Club at Brandeis University, and a member of the Prime Minister’s Club for the State of Israel Bonds. He is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a bachelor of science degree in economics.

Aurin Disla – Managing Director

With over 15 years of experience in the New York City luxury market, Aurin has led new development positions in leasing, sales and marketing, construction, market research, and acquisitions all within major real estate organizations. Most recently, Aurin has applied her expertise at New York-based developer SJP Properties.

Paul Wolfson – Director

Paul is a director at The Carlton Group and is responsible for the origination and placement of structured debt and equity financing. He has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as COO of Chesterfield Faring Ltd., a boutique investment bank. Wolfson also served as VP at Argent Ventures, a private real estate investment company, where he oversaw acquisitions and asset management of a portfolio which included Grand Central Terminal and its 1.2M sq. ft. of air rights, the Omni Mall and Hotel redevelopment in Miami and over 700 sponsor condo/co-op units in NYC. He was also VP of acquisitions and asset management at American Real Estate Holdings, LP, a publicly-traded Master Limited Partnership controlled by Carl Icahn where he was responsible for a portfolio of 3M sq. ft. of retail, office, industrial, hotel, land and casino assets. Wolfson holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.

Giuseppe Riggi – Vice President

Giuseppe, Vice President at Carlton Group, is responsible for the origination and placement of structured debt and equity financing. Prior to joining Carlton, Joe spent four years at PGIM Investments as Regional Internal Consultant on the mutual and separately managed accounts distribution team. Mr. Riggi has held significant advisory positions at AXA and SunTrust and his responsibilities included financial planning, development of asset allocation models, and portfolio management of investments. Mr. Riggi holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Dowling College and currently maintains Dual Citizenship in the U.S. and Italy.

Ryan A. Miller – Vice President

Ryan serves as a Vice President in the New York Headquarters of the Carlton Group. With more than five years of industry experience, Mr. Miller has proven adept in providing clients with financial, strategic, and operational solutions. Prior to joining the Carlton Group, Mr. Miller held a position at FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring group. There, he served as a member of the firm’s Real Estate Restructuring sub-practice and the firm’s Hospitality, Gaming, and Leisure vertical. Mr. Miller has advised clients in matters involving all property types including land & resort development, hotel and leisure, gaming, multi-family housing, condo development, and retail/mall portfolios. Mr. Miller has successfully raised rescue capital, guided clients through bankruptcies, conducted extensive business plans analysis, financial projections, as well as transaction proposals in the representation of both debtors and creditors. Mr. Miller has additional experience providing litigation support services, including expert witness testimony and damage calculations. Mr. Miller obtained his B.S. from Vanderbilt University.

Todd Fasanella – Managing Director

Todd serves as Managing Director of the Carlton Hospitality Group focusing on originating, structuring and placing of equity and debt capital and advisory for hospitality transactions. Todd has over 20 years of investment banking and capital markets experience for real estate, hospitality and leisure owner-developer / operators, having structured, marketed and advised on over $25 billion of acquisitions, senior / mezzanine debt, preferred / common equity for cash flow and development projects during his career. Todd also has unique expertise in timeshare related transactions and financings.   Todd previously worked for Imperial Capital, Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse and The Prudential Realty Group. Todd received a bachelor of science in economics and mathematics from The Ohio State University and his MBA in finance and strategy from Yale University.

Ariel Rodriguez – Managing Director

With a degree in Hospitality Management from Santo Domingo’s PUCMM, Ariel’s fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French brings an international perspective to the Carlton Group. While specializing in hospitality and residential real estate, Ariel’s broad network of investors and connections provide Carlton with valuable deal sourcing capability. Ariel’s expertise in hospitality was developed in his native Dominican Republic, where he helped solidify and expand relationships between international investors and various hotel projects. After his relocation to New York City more than ten years ago, Ariel continued to expand his connections and extensive investor contacts. Ariel’s ability to quickly connect with the right people, recognize deal potential, understand stakeholders’ needs adds significant value to Carlton team.

Stephen Scorgie – Managing Director

Steve is managing director and head of The Carlton Group’s Florida office. He has over 20 years of Capital Markets experience securing billions of dollars of debt and equity financing for various types of real estate. Scorgie’s experience also includes buying and trading loans and REO as a principal and selling loans as a financial advisor to large financial institutions. He has been with Carlton for 20 years. Prior to working at Carlton, Scorgie was a director at Ocwen Financial, during which time Ocwen was recognized as the largest buyer of distressed commercial and residential loans in the market. Scorgie started Ocwen’s small commercial distressed loan division before becoming the head of business development. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a master’s of business administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
