Carlton Chairman, Howard L. Michaels is a featured speaker at the EIRE conference in Milan tomorrow. Mr. Michaels panel, which is called – “SHOW ME THE MONEY!” is one of the most popular and sought after panels at the increasingly more prominent EIRE conference and will be held at 10am in the Red Conference Room.
I am proud to say that we have been in business since 1991 and have been able to successfully raise capital regardless of the market environment. We have lived through several distressed cycles and we possess sophisticated techniques and have tremendous experience in being able to structure and create liquidity despite market conditions.
We have recently also had great success in Italy, arranging two high-profile transactions, where we accessed off-shore investors to fund €300 million of recapitalizations on two highly profitable, Italian hospitality and retail assets.
We possess tremendous relationships with investors throughout the world who are eager to invest in Italy right now. Our investors easily control over $100 billion of capital, which is looking to be deployed.
As you may of seen from our emails, we are presently transacting well over $2 billion of European transactions, which is in addition to our huge pipeline of Manhattan and other U.S. investment opportunities.
Over the last 20 years, we have completed more than $85 billion of transactions worldwide, including more than $20 billion of European transactions. We continue to have great success in Europe with approximately $1 billion of assets under hard contract, which are scheduled to close shortly. We have also recently arranged over $1.5 billion of U.S. transactions, primarily with sovereign wealth and high-net-worth investors.
