Moinian eyes hotel partner

• Joseph Moinian is looking for a partner to build a hotel at 237 W. 54th St., a vacant, five-story building he owns. The site can support an as-of-right structure of 144,000 square feet.
• Moinian doesn’t want to sell No. 237 but rather reel in a joint-venture partner to create a boutique hotel with up to 400 rooms.
